Apple's 2007 Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) took place from June 11 to 15, 2007, in the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. The opening keynote took place at 10:00 AM PDT on June 11.

Keynote summary
- The keynote had over 5000 attendees, making it the biggest ever
- Intel CEO Paul Ottelini came on stage and was presented with a stainless steel award designed by Jonathan Ive to thank him for the partnership in switching to Intel processors
- EA Chief Creative Officer Bing Gordon came on stage and announced that it would again begin releasing Mac OS X and Windows versions of its games simultaneously
- id Software cofounder and technical director John Carmack gave a brief presentation
- Steve Jobs demonstrated new features in Leopard:
- A new Desktop
- A new Finder
- Quick Look
- Completely 64-bit
- Core Animation
- Boot Camp
- Spaces
- Improved Dashboard including new widgets
- iChat
- Time Machine
- Steve Jobs announced that Safari 3.0 would be available for both Mac OS X and Windows
- Steve Jobs announced that developers would be able to write Web 2.0 applications for the iPhone, with a demonstration from Scott Forstall, vice president of Apple's iPhone division
