For what it's worth, I play WoW on a 900 MHz G3 iBook with the stock 32MB video card and 640 MB of ram. With all video settings on low and the music off, framerates are pretty acceptable (~20 except in cities). Just in case anyone was wondering what the absolute low end looks like...

Who is the author of this guide? I've got tons of organized WoW links I'm considering adding to this Guide but I don't want to step on any toes. I realize that these guides are open for editing by anyone, but I still want to honor the original authors intentions. Thanks! Dave Peck (Hunt'n)

updating this guide?

Has anyone thought about updating this guide. These guide was great when i first started wow. Bu now it is very outdated and i think that we could make it much better. I know that these are open for editing but i just wanted to make sure that i was not barging in on someone else's territory.
