Is the hard drive to install pretty standard? I've replaced many conventional hard drives, but never a laptop - this is probably true for many people. Is 2.5" all we need to know??? Is there SATA vs ATA/IDE for laptops? If so which does the MacBook support?

Do all 2.5" HDD's come with a tab on, or just approved Apple ones? My worry is if a 3rd-party one didn't, I'd never be able to get it out again! --Hob 15:58, 6 December 2007 (EST)
