Titanium PowerBooks
The first model of PowerBook to carry the G4 chip, the Titanium PowerBook set a new standard for compactness, power, and style.

Aluminum PowerBooks
The Aluminum PowerBooks were the second style of laptop to hold the G4 chip internally. Initially released in two sizes, 12" and 17" the Aluminum PowerBooks were eventually expanded to the 15" model. The aircraft-grade aluminum they are made of is less restrictive to radio waves than their Titanium forbearers, but not perfect. PowerBooks tend to dent more than scratch, however with the 12" model this is sometimes attributed to heat rather than actual damage done by owners.
