Combo Drive is a term used to describe a device capable of reading DVDs and reading and writing CDs. For several years now all Macs have included a Combo Drive or a Superdrive (which can also write DVDs) on higher end models. Currently all available Macs except for the low end Mac Mini and MacBook models now include a SuperDrive.
