ATI FireGL is a line of graphics card sold by ATI as their professional line. There is a main line for desktops and a "mobility" line for laptops. This line is ATI's counterpart to the NVIDIA Quadro line.
As of 2007, no Mac computers, desktop or laptop, uses the FireGL line of graphics card. Until recently, most new Macs uses the Radeon line of graphics card. Now, only the iMac uses ATI cards, other computers having switched either to NVIDIA cards or utilizing integrated chipsets.
