I'm a computer professional working in software development.

Started using computers in the 7th grade, circa 1982. I graduated from NJIT in 1991 with a BS in computer science, and again in 1994 with an MS in computer science.

I have worked with a wide variety of computers, including:

  • Apple II series (II+ through IIGS
  • Mac series (from the Plus through modern systems)
  • PCs (from 8088 through modern systems)
  • UNIX workstations (including Sun, SGI, HP, DEC and many others)
  • IBM mainframes
  • DEC VAX/VMS mainframes
  • Embedded systems (mostly networking gear)

I have developed software for a wide variety of operating systems, including:

  • MS-DOS
  • OS/2 (both 16- and 32-bit)
  • Windows (both 16- and 32-bit, including device-driver code)
  • Many different strains of UNIX
  • VxWorks (an embedded UNIX)

I intend on learning to program Mac OS X one of these days, but it's been a long time since I had that kind of free time.
