Should this be "ITunes" instead of "Itunes" --Arn 03:30, 31 October 2005 (EST)

Yes. But my experience with Wiki syntax is... little at best. Still playing around and making stuff work how I believe it should. Mechcozmo 03:35, 31 October 2005 (EST)

high-res icon

How do we get a high-res image file of the icon as is there for iTunes 1? I am taking screeshots of iTunes 2 on OS 9, but I don't know where to get that icon file.

OS9 has no hi-rez version, to my knowledge. --Mainstreetmark 15:22, 31 October 2005 (EST)
It's not there in the OS X version of iTunes 1.1 either. The about panel has the name iTunes in Apple Garamond and a little red Apple logo instead of the giant icon. --IMeowbot 16:04, 31 October 2005 (EST)

DRM question

I see a brief mention of iTunes Plus, the DRM-free AAC downloads from the ITMS. I understand that personal information is recorded in these songs in order to be able to track down a user who illegally distributes purchased songs. I have a friend who believes the same is done with MP3s ripped by iTunes. Can someone with more experience address the information added to iTunes Plus songs and if similar information is encoded into MP3s? Chrysrobyn 10:09, 13 November 2007 (EST)

I don't believe ripped songs do the same thing, I'll update the article for clarity. Eraserhead 08:57, 14 November 2007 (EST)
