I believe Apple has changed the term from "Universal Binary" to "Universal Applcation". This was brought to my attention in the World of Warcraft Mac Tech forum by a Blizzard person. Also searching apple.com for Universal Binary brings up far less hits than Universal Application.

Yes, I would say Universal Application is a lot clearer for non techies/consumers so I can see why Apple might have changed it. Also I note it's the title of the page you linked to. I'd agree to the change of title and references within the guide itself. TMA 13:25, 7 February 2006 (EST)
