Someone needs to rewrite the putting apps in the dock section. It describes the hardest most obscure way to do it when all you need to do is drag the application's icon into the dock. - motulist

Good job HexMonkey. But it's still is harder than it needs to be. Even if an application is running you can still just throw it in your dock, it makes no difference. The only time you ever need to control click on a dock icon to add or remove it is if the program is already running and you want to remove it.- motulist
While you can still drag the icon to the Dock if it's open, it's often easier to use the menu if the icon is not in view elsewhere, so I explained this method as an alternative (ie you don't need to use this method, but it might be helpful for some people). Of course, the easiest method of all is probably to drag the application's Dock icon to another location in the Dock, but I didn't mention this since it doesn't really give any feedback that it's being kept in the Dock, so might be more confusing to follow. --HexMonkey 03:06, 19 May 2006 (EDT)
I changed the language a little because the way it read before sounded like the menu option was the only way to do it if the program was already running. -motulist
Good changes :) --HexMonkey 07:51, 19 May 2006 (EDT)

I have screenshots for the unmount part of the guide too. Should I put them up or will that be a bit too much? - dubbz

I added a bit of text about unmounting and deleting the disk image. I'm not sure any illustrations are necessary, though. Nice page!--Wordmunger 20:28, 2 November 2005 (EST)

I really don't see why the Unarchiver has it's own section it's mentioned under the stuffit section and otherwise is just confusing with more options than needed, if no-one objects I'll remove it. Eraserhead 15:42, 28 June 2007 (EDT)
