SuperDisk

A 3.5" Floppy Disk capable of storing 120MiB (later 240MiB) of data. The drives were faster than normal floppy drives even for normal floppy media.

These drives are not capable of reading older Apple 400 KB and 800 KB floppy disks as they use GCR (Group Code Recording) rather than MFM (Modified Frequency Modulation) used on Apple 1.44 MB and PC formatted 1.4 MB/720 KB disks. Only 1.44 MB HD (High Density) Macintosh disks can be read (in addition to SuperDisks and PC formatted floppies).
