Lightroom

Lightroom is an application from Adobe that allows professional photographers to import, select, develop, and showcase large volumes of digital images. The application appears to be Adobe's response to Apple's Aperture application, released in late 2005.

Lightroom is presently released in Beta form and is available as a download from Adobe.
