Jam Pack 1 was introduced along side of GarageBand at Macworld San Francisco 2004

Jam Pack 2 was announced September 29, 2004.

Jam Pack 3 was announced along with Jam Pack 2.

Requirements
- DVD drive for installation.
- 4.5GB to 10GB of disk space for installation.
- Jam Packs 1 thru 3 wil work with any version of GarageBand
- Jam Pack 4 requires GarageBand 2
- Note: Jam Packs are independent of each other, so you can install any combination of the Jam Packs on a system.
