The Final-Cut suite is Apple's professional video editing suite of applications which are a step up from iMovie. There are two versions of the Final Cut Suite depending on how many features are required.

  • Final Cut Express is the cheaper of the two suites and is aimed at semi-professional users and has less features.
  • Final Cut Pro is more expensive and aimed at fully professional users and aims to compete with Avid.
  • Final Cut Studio is the full suite of applications which includes Final Cut Pro as well as Motion and other applications.
