The PowerPC 604 processor was used from August 1995 until March 1998. The following models used the PowerPC 604:
- PowerMac 7600, 8500, 9500 series
- Macintosh WGS 8550
- Network Server 500 and 700
- Clones from: Daystar, PowerComputing and Umax

604e
The PowerPC 604e processor was used from August 1996 until September 1998. The 604e was the final 60x series of processors used before Apple began using the G3 Processor. The following models used the PowerPC 604e:
- PowerMac 7300, 7600, 8500, 8600, 9500 and 9600
- Macintosh WGS 7350, 8550, 9650
- Network Server 700
- Clones from: Daystar, Motorola, PowerComputing, Umax and many others.
