The PowerPC 603 processor was used from April 1995 until May 1996. The PowerPC 603 was used in Apple's low-end consumer lines of computers. The following models used the PowerPC 603:

The PowerPC 603e processor was used from April 1996 until August 1998. The PowerPC 603e was used in many Apple and Macintosh Clone models including:
- Performa 5200, 5300, 5400, 6200, 6300 and 6400 series
- PowerMac 440, 5200, 5300, 5400, 5500, 6300, 6400 and 6500 series
- Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh
- Powerbook 1400 series, 2400c, 3400c, 5300 series, and Powerbook Duo 2300c
- Clones from: Motorola, PowerComputing, Umax and many others
